The race hawk build has stalled slightly due to the demands of the new job. I’ve ordered a few replacement parts (aluminum sprockets) but my attention is still currently on the tear down.
I finally found the time to remove the rear subframe, gas tank, and airbox.
I don’t know much about carbs, but I do know that the stock carbs will need to be cleaned and rebuilt.
Once I’ve gotten the carbs off and rebuilt, I’ll probably attack the rear swingarm. The whole bike is covered in muck, so the whole things will really need a good pressure wash before it goes back together as well.
